Meet the Founders of Black Rose Coffee Co.

Born and raised in the Kansas City area, siblings Marissa and Dustin share a passion for community, hospitality, and entrepreneurship—values that inspired the creation of Black Rose Coffee Co.

Dustin’s journey is fueled by creativity and connection. After a military career that instilled discipline and resilience, he built a successful path in the fitness and culinary industries. His love for food, flavor, and craftsmanship became the foundation for Black Rose Coffee Co.’s commitment to quality and experience.

Marissa, a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration, found her entrepreneurial spirit after the birth of her daughter, Riley Rose—the company’s namesake. She launched The Virtual Admin Collab, leveraging her operational expertise as a virtual assistant while nurturing her dream of owning a coffee business.

Together, Marissa and Dustin combined their skills to bring Black Rose Coffee Co. to life. Built on family, creativity, and a deep appreciation for high-quality, locally sourced coffee, their mobile café is more than just a coffee stop—it’s a space where great coffee and meaningful connections come together. Whether at farmers markets, local events, or community gatherings, Black Rose Coffee Co. is dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences wherever they go.
